Jonathan Strömberg
Jonathan began his journey as a music production student in London. After earning his degree, the big city felt a bit to busy and an opportunity to work for a surf company presented itself. After 2 years traveling the world & developing his talents as a filmmaker, he returned to his hometown Varberg, Sweden. Here he really decided to put his heart into filmmaking, starting up Solkatt Studios with his best friend and fellow filmmaker Simon Lautrup.
He sees himself as a jack of all trades, be it shooting surf in the freezing water, writing stories or finding the perfect sound design. Being part of the whole process gives him an understanding of the final product from beginning to the end. Drawing from this, he strives to create a cinematic, heartfelt and honest connection between his subjects and the viewer.
